What motivates us is to enhance people lives, especially those who are not in the position of power, and we use digital media to achieve it.
We are a team of digital specialists, in a digital era. If we worked twenty years ago, we would still have the same spirit. Digital is just contemporary to us, but it is not to our ethos.
So we want to liberate the media, if this happened twenty years ago, we might be thinking of creating a newspaper or a radio program to allow people to be heard, to let them express their opinion.
We are not exposing this as a political statement, we are not rebellions, not in the conflict sense, we are more pragmatic and subtle. We really want to help people now, not to change the world (which we wouldn’t mind by the way). We simply believe that it will enhance people’s social experiences, their everyday life interactions by adding a virtualdimension to their physical environments.
We do not just create; we create because we observe. We create for them and with them, we call them “users” because this is our digital jargon, but we think about us, human beings. We want to enhance people’s lives by adapting the imposed environment/lifestyle, and not the other way around.
Following this idea, ADHOCIA was born.
